Founder & President
Matthew Connolly, P.E., L.S.
Matt founded LandTech Resources, Inc. in 1998 and graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. He has over 36 years of surveying and engineering experience throughout the US and its territories. His experience includes Virginia Department of Transportation, Department of Defense, municipal and private sector projects. He has served as an adjunct instructor at Old Dominion University.

William Felts, P.E., L.S.
William has over 18 years of survey experience working throughout the state of Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland. He graduated from Old Dominion University in 2009 with a degree in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. At LRI he is responsible for the daily coordination of engineering projects and the management of project engineers and technicians designing site plans, subdivision plans, and storm water design.

Vice President
Survey Coordinator
Chase Grogg, L.S.
Chase joined the LRI team in 2014. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2013. His experience spans over multiple service areas that LRI provides including, Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. With his technical aptitude and emphasis on customer service, Chase is able to provide clients with a great experience from the beginning to the end of their project. Currently, Chase’s responsibilities include coordination of survey projects and engineering for residential site designs.

Project Engineer
Greg Warren
Greg joined the Landtech Resources team in July of 2019. He brought with him 30 years of experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering, with a strong background and understanding of site design, grading, storm sewer, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management. Prior to joining Landtech Resources. Greg has worked on numerous municipal, commercial, and residential development projects, taking them from conceptual planning to construction completion. Some of these projects include subdivisions within the Stonehouse development, Colonial Heritage, Whittaker’s Mill, White Hall, and Quarterpath at Williamsburg, as well as numerous commercial development throughout the region.

Senior Survey Technician
Linda Vergakis
Linda has over 40 years working in the Engineering/Surveying industry and attended Tidewater Community College and Thomas Nelson Community College. She has extensive experience in GIS and CAD drafting of surveys, subdivision plats, easement plats, conceptual layouts and site development plans.

AutoCAD Technician
Alexis Quayle
Alexis joined LRI in May of 2019 with extensive customer service, design and graphics experience. At LRI she is responsible for preparing plans to be used in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying projects. She supports both the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying departments at LRI. She assists with work flow and ensures that all drawings are compliant with the required standards and always meets client criteria.

Project Engineer
Mitchell Turnage
Mitchell, a Virginia Tech grad, joined Landtech in 2023 with three years experience working for utilities and municipalities as a stormwater and GIS consultant. Mitchell assists the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying departments at Landtech with field work, drafting, and design, helping ensure each project meets the client's expectations.

AutoCAD Technician
Mandee Goins
Mandee joined Landtech in 2023, bringing with her 13 years of experience in teaching mathematics at the middle school level in both public and private institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Old Dominion University. In her role, Mandee provides support to the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying departments through various activities, including fieldwork, research, drafting, and construction stakeout.

Alis Ripchick
Alis is a graduate of Old Dominion University, class of 2022. She comes to LRI with considerable customer service and management experience. As Office Manager, she handles setting up new projects and coordinating the incoming workload with staff to ensure that each client's needs are addressed and that their project is completed on schedule.
